The first two days of the finals were a mixed bag for the team. We had a bit of everything:
- Melkers top 10 in the gold fleet
- Hugos top10 placements in the silver fleet
- Calles win in the bronze fleet,
- a UFD,
- a DNF
- as well as a last placement in the gold fleet
During the first day of the finals only one race was sailed due to lack of wind. The gold fleet had several restarts due to strong wind-shifts and one attempt was started but then aborted after ten minutes into the race.
On the second day there was more wind on the race-track, about 6m/s, which allowed for good racing with defending champion Marco Gradoni dominating the competetion. See video below.
