Urgent – Marine Weather Message Small Craft Advisory Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services 7:00 AM Monday 15 July 2019 Small craft advisory is in effect for Antigua and Barbuda. Hazardous seas, due to fresh winds, are expected to be a threat to life and property of mariners. The worst conditions are likely late today. Winds: East at 22 to 37 km/h (12 to 20 knots), locally higher with frequent strong gusts reaching near 52 km/h or 28 knots. Seas (significant wave heights): 1.5 to 2.5 metres (5 to 8 feet), occasionally reaching 3 metres (10 feet). Dominant period is 6 to 8 seconds. Locations (to be) affected: Open waters mainly on the Atlantic side of the islands.
This lead to that only the Gold and Silver fleet were allowed leaving the harbour. Again, som ups and downs during the races. With all races done; Theo finished 21st, Erik 26th and Lukas 37th in total. Jonatan as 99th (35th in Silver fleet) and Emil 9th in Bronze final. Well done after many days of sailing!!
The total winner was Marco Gradoni (ITA), followed by Richard Schultheis (MLT) and Jamie Ayarza (ESP).

In the evening there was a closing ceremony with prize giving, trading of clothes and music. The event at Antigua has been well organised and it has been in a very nice location. We all hope we are coming back one day!
